The printing industry is reporting an uptick in toner scams across the country.
These elusive toner scammers will pose as your printer service provider claiming that you need new toner. They will overcharge you and deliver a subpar toner, if at all.
If you receive a suspicious phone call regarding your printer or toner, ask the caller to state the account number of your printer contract. If the business is legitimate, they will have that information readily available.
