Be on the lookout for an invitation to respond to the national Private School Universe Survey (PSS) or National Teacher and Principal Survey (NTPS) from the U.S. Department of Education’s National Center for Education Statistics (NCES).
Though private schools are asked to respond every year, NCES indicated that private school data is now a high priority as more parents investigate alternatives in education.
The Council for American Private Education (CAPE) encourages private schools to respond to the survey, if asked, as private schools are an essential part of the nation’s education infrastructure. WCRIS is Wisconsin’s chapter of CAPE.
For more national private school news, check out CAPE’s latest newsletter, which highlights a study that found that male and private school teens are the most likely to report using artificial intelligence (AI) on school assignments. Read more here.
