Our hearts are breaking for all those affected by yesterday’s tragic incident in Georgia. School safety is a priority for WCRIS, and we have partnered with an organization to bring more school safety resources to our members, for free. Watch your email next week for a special update on school safety workshops and resources that members can access free of charge from former Marine Special Operations and law enforcement officials.
Please remain vigilant and encourage your staff and students to contact law enforcement to report any tips or suspicious behavior. Students and staff can use the highly successful and anonymous Speak Up Speak Out tip line to share tips, bullying incidents, mental health concerns or knowledge of violence or suicide plans.
