Overview
WCRIS provides resources for schools and their principals to use while preparing school safety plans, developing policies and procedures and creating a safe environment for students and their families.
Schools are not immune from tornados, fires, acts of violence or other unexpected disasters. These are very stressful experiences. As a school leader, you will be significantly involved in responding to an emergency situation at your school.
Below you can find information on instructing students in CPR; creating crisis/emergency management plans; handling concussions in youth athletic activities; administering medication to students; creating an exposure control plan for bloodborne pathogens; developing indoor environmental air quality plans; and administering employee background checks.
