Fall 2024 Webinar Schedule
September 3: Private School Solutions: Q&A Session with WCRIS
We’ve been collecting our members’ most-asked questions, and the WCRIS team will be answering them in our first Lunch & Learn webinar of the school year. We’ll be addressing important private K-12 education topics such as recent legislation, Title funding, transportation and more.
September 17: Keeping Schools Safe: Critical Incident Mapping Demo
It’s state law that all schools need to provide blueprints or digital critical incident maps to local law enforcement and the Wisconsin Department of Justice Office of School Safety (OSS). In addition to showcasing the power of critical mapping technology, this webinar will also walk schools through how to apply for the OSS grant that will fully fund the creation of your school’s map.
Led by former Marine Special Operations Command, Joseph Hanson, schools will walk away with an understanding of the importance of digital critical mapping and effective communication during an emergency situation, as well as knowledge on how to apply for a grant from the OSS. This is a WCRIS-member-exclusive opportunity.
Recording is coming soon for WCRIS members!
