Many WCRIS principals have been asking about liability waivers as they head into a new school year with possible in-person instruction, and the health threats posed by COVID-19.
Church Mutual, which insures WCRIS and many of the churches that sponsor our schools, has provided sample waivers, and other resources on their website.
Since the resources are in the public domain, you can use them whether or not you are a Church Mutual customer. However, you may want to check with your own insurance company for their specific resources.
Regardless of the source, you should have your school attorney review and approve any such documents you circulate to staff or families.
