New Guidance on 2020-21 School Year
On Thursday, May 21, the Department of Public Instruction (DPI) released guidance on school operations and COVID-19.
This guide includes policies and procedures to help schools plan for the upcoming school year. Keep in mind these are recommendations and not requirements.
The DPI understands that not all of the suggestions are feasible for every school. The goal is to help school leaders plan for this Fall utilizing the recommendations that best fit the needs of their school community.
The DPI also issued this guidance on end-of-year packing-up, picking-up and returning school items. WCRIS schools can use this information to support their own plans for end-of-year operations.
