Keynote: Dr. Lori Desautels
Dr. Lori Desautels is an Assistant Professor at both undergraduate and graduate programs at Butler University in Indianapolis. Before teaching at Marian and Butler University, Lori taught emotionally troubled students in the upper elementary grades, worked as a school counselor in Indianapolis, was a private practice counselor and co-owner of the Indianapolis Counseling Center. Lori was a behavioral consultant for Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis on the adolescent psychiatric unit.
Dr. Desautels will speak to the neurological effects of trauma and their relationship to education.

Lunch Speaker: Chad Dirkse
Chad Dirkse is currently President of Chattanooga Christian School. Originally from Wisconsin, Chad graduated from Covenant College with a BA in Elementary Education, and he also holds an MBA with a specialization in school leadership from LeTourneau University. He also serves as a Fellow at the Center for Advancement of Christian Education (CACE).
Chad will speak about how to maintain your school mission by embracing parental choice.

Attendees can stay at the newly-renovated Ingleside Hotel (former Country Springs) at a special rate of $119 and free parking. The full-service hotel has a swimming pool, exercise room, and free wifi. You can purchase a day pass for the adjacent water park for any family you bring.

Refund/Cancellation/Registration Changes Policy: We are not able to refund registration fees after February 1, 2020, Before February
1, 2020, 50% of your registration fee is refundable. All online purchases once submitted cannot be changed or altered except for substitutions. All invoices, once made, can not be altered nor can attendees be added. Any new additions will be treated as a new registration or group and subject to appropriate pricing.
