Question: We are also getting ready to post a position for an interventionist. If we identify someone, does CESA 6 actually hire them on our behalf? How do we handle employee benefits for this person?
Answer: Because private schools are not allowed to obligate funds, a CESA must hire them. CESA will manage and handle all the payroll and benefits. A CESA may use a service supplier like Catapult Learning to fill the role. If you are looking for an interventionist to be funded under EANS, do not hire them. This would make them ineligible.
