If you missed the regular registration deadline last week for the 2019 WCRIS Professional Learning Conference on August 9, in the Wisconsin Dells, don’t dismay! You still have one week to register.
Limited seats are left to hear nationally-known speaker, Cynthia Tobias, give a keynote address on different student learning styles. She will also host two follow-up workshops on conflict resolution strategies when working with strong-willed children.
Registration includes access to workshops built for private school teachers by fellow private school teachers, and an opportunity to connect with other private school teachers from all over the state during our networking lunch.
The following workshops are available:
- Turning Conflict into Cooperation – Five Top Ways for Bringing Out the Best in a Strong-Willed Child
- Making Economics Fun & Relevant for Today’s Students
- Speech-Language Secrets Revealed: Closing the Test Score Gap
- Ok, So My Students are Traumatized. Now What?
- Dyslexia Simulation & Teaching Strategies for Struggling Readers
- Grant Writing for Busy Teachers
- Google Suite Tips and Tricks
- What’s the Big Deal About Singapore Math?

We’ll wrap up with an ice cream social at 3 pm.
Bring your family to enjoy the last days of summer in the Dells.
