The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) have issued a ransomware alert.
This comes after an increase in ransomware attacks that have stolen sensitive information and files from attacked computers.
Schools are not immune to cyber-attacks and should take the necessary precautions to protect themselves. This includes routine antivirus scans of both your computer and backup files.
