Schools are required to complete an on-site safety assessment of their school buildings for this year’s Act 143 submission. Schools need to submit their assessment and other school safety material by January 1, 2022.
To help schools complete their assessment, the Wisconsin School Safety Coordinators Association (WSSCA) offers assessment services.
Schools can either do their own assessment through WSSCA Self-assessment training or contract with WSSCA directly.
WSSCA will be hosting a training for self-assessment on November 16 at 8:30 am.
