The 2015-16 Wisconsin Blue Book, the definitive Wisconsin Almanac, has just been released. This compendium of all-things Wisconsin is updated every two years by the Legislative Reference Bureau. This year’s edition features a special section on Wisconsin in the Civil War, which fourth grade teachers may find especially useful as they develop their classroom content to meet the DPI Model Academic Standards for Social Studies.
The online version of the Blue Book is available here.
If you want a printed, hardcover edition for your school library, you can get one free from your state legislator. Simply send an e-mail request to your Assembly Representative or Senator. You can get your legislator’s name and e-mail address at the “Find My Legislator” prompt here.
