Deadline to submit 2017 – 2018 Private School Choice Program forms and fees to DPI is January 10, 2017
Both continuing and new schools are required to have all required forms and fees at the DPI on January 10, 2017. A continuing school is any school that is already participating in the Private School Choice Program (PSCP). A new school is an existing school which has not participated in the PSCP before. A school that is already participating in PSCP and wants to offer summer school in 2017 should submit the summer school questionnaire by January 10, 2017.
Find out more »Schools new to PSCP submit 2017-2018 Hours of Instruction Report
Schools must provide 1050 hours of direct instruction in grades 1-6 and 1137 hours for grades 7-12. The hours can include recess and passing time between classes, but not lunch periods. Choice attendance requirements also specify that the children are at school on the count dates (3rd Friday in September and 2nd Friday in January) or any day before or any day after those dates.
