Huge Savings for WCRIS Members Using QEI
New educators and teachers licensed after 2004 must complete Professional Development Plans in order to obtain either their Wisconsin Initial Educators License or to renew their Professional Educators License.
Currently, there are two online service providers of PDP software which include WECAN and QEI. However, as of June 2017, WECAN is discontinuing their online PDP services. Teachers who did not start their PDP with WECAN before October 1, 2016, must now go through QEI.
QEI offers several membership levels with Gold being the most expensive plan with the most benefits. In order to help WCRIS teachers create PDPs for a reasonable cost with the best benefits available, WCRIS negotiated with QEI for a significantly reduced rate of $12.50 per teacher for the Gold Membership level. A traditional Gold QEI Membership is $125. That’s a savings of $112.50 per teacher!
