Every year, the Governor announces a theme for the Christmas tree in the Capitol rotunda. Based on that theme, students around the state create ornaments for the tree. Those ornaments are displayed throughout the holiday season on the tree for all to see.
This year’s theme is “Hometown for the Holidays.” The ornaments should be sent by Friday, November 19. More information about what is allowed and where to mail student ornaments can be found here.
