Wisconsin educators are eligible for a $1,000 grant to travel to Sri Lanka this summer in partnership with UW-Madison Center for South Asia and the Global Exploration for Educators Organization.
The trip is meant for teachers to travel (without students) and bring the world back to their classrooms. The trip’s organizers told WCRIS that travelers can also bring a non-educator guest.
Check out the 14-day trip’s itinerary here and go here to apply for the grant. Applications submitted before Oct. 1 will be given special consideration, but will still be accepted on a rolling basis afterwards.
